This is just a special preview for my patrons. There are some mistakes I'm fixing at the moment, if you have any suggestions before I render the final version let me know!
This has taken forever to complete, there are some things I would love to improve on (audio recording quality is one) But if i keep thinking like that ill never release...

You may have noticed I paused billing on here. I decided to do this as I feel like I haven't been able to bring enough to the table for you all.
The past year has been absolutely exhausting, almost feels like since 2020 it has just continued to get more difficult running the business side of LoFi Future, but we are pulling through! Its b...

Here is the basic (and confirmed) DC4069 LFO schematic. It can run on as little as 3.3V up to 12V no problem. If you feed it a single rail 5V supply, you get a 0-5V peak to peak lfo voltage output, great stuff!
I based this on a nice LFO schematic from http://scott.jov...

Yes it is possible, and I have meticulously mapped out the vias coming from the GPU that you can solder to on the 3900x (now you know what specific model to buy in preperation!)
Its still early days, and i need to pick up a PS2 that isn't in spares or repair shape. But i got enough down to know it is completely possible, I didn't capture...

Here is a clearer but not quite finished map of the PS 550X GPU circuit bending points. The test points labelled with the pink dots are the GPU data lines 0 to 30.
Connecting these together will cause that polygon madness we all love! Some of these points will cause system crashes, and can be somewhat prevented with the addition of some lo...

Here's the area these bends can be found on the PU-22 motherboard. This is just a rough idea for now, some of these will cause the console to crash but none of them them blow any fuses on the motherboard. I am tracking these pins back to the GPU so I can label them.
These pics are for any of you that are eager to experiment! I'll be making...

Onto working on the circuit bent PS1 tutorial!
I want to bring it in hope video and PDF form, as I find a video is fun to watch and get inspired about a project, but often falls short of ideal when actually doing the project itself.
Covering various models of the PlayStation here to make it easier to approach and not lock...

Been working on this tiny LFO specifically designed for implanting into Panasonic video mixers to modulate the X/Y positioner.
It is based on this design here: http://scott.joviansynth.com/fatman/4069_lfo.html
I chose to adapt this particular c...

Its been super hard getting into the flow of video production, but I am pretty happy with what I have made.
Will be uploading it later. For now, I'll leave you this!
Its a detailed circuit bending pinout guide for the RAM chips commonly found in consumer video gear like scalers and processors, more importantly though it is found on...

Finishing up the latest tutorial. this one is related to my feedback generator plans but with a focus on circuit bending / glitch effects .
It can be run as a feedback video synth or a glitchy RAM buffer video processor.
It is based off of a readily available VGA to RGDS / Composite converter (the GBS8100) In my example I have gon...

I have been experimenting with post processing captures from my video gear. Here is one I really like, the upscaling to 1080p was done in OBS, no fancy settings or anything.
In photoshop I used noise reduction and field blur to smooth things out and the result is very pleasing on a 1080p screen! I have attached the high res .PNG to this ...

Super happy with how this turned out! Used a toner transfer process involving a laser printer, normal printer paper and some acetone nail polish remover.
Its by no means a perfect way to do panel graphics, but its imperfect in all the right ways.
I have also been developing a way to do toner transfers using clear coat and grease ...

I bought this lovely little 5" JVC monitor a while back. When I got it it was in really crappy condition, full of dirt (was definitely used on location in some muddy scenarios) and it had a big break in the screen bezel that really annoyed me.

I put together this collection of clips I made using Music 2000 on a modified PlayStation. The PlayStation mod involves crossing data and address lines on the VRAM chip via toggle switches to corrupt the video data being stored. I'll have a tutorial for that very soon! For now enjoy these visuals!
They are all MP4 720p clips captured from...

Here is a video i produced using the Vect A Sketch project. The CRT is rescanned with a b/w tube camera, sent to a video mixer for keying / effects then captured into my PC.
The audio is actually the sound of the function generators. Quite mesmerising to hear and see both at the same time!

Working on another tutorial, this time on a very obsolete piece of hardware, the Sharp VP-ES1 Video Printer (also known as the (GZ-P15 in the US)
