Glitching images with hardware audio effects

In this tutorial I show you how to process images with hardware audio effects (guitar pedals, rack fx units, synth modules etc.)

The image sonification process in audacity is a pretty well known technique for glitching out still images that involves importing an image as RAW data, applying audio effects in audacity and converting that back to a visible image.

We can take this a step further by processing the audio externally through hardware, while recording the processed audio back into the PC in real time. This technique allows you to play with effect parameters for the duration of the image (Higher resolution images will produce longer audio files)
