Been working on this tiny LFO specifically designed for implanting into Panasonic video mixers to modulate the X/Y positioner.
It is based on this design here: http://scott.joviansynth.com/fatman/4069_lfo.html
I chose to adapt this particular circuit because:
1: It can go ridiculously slow witch is great for slowly evolving / morphing visuals.
2: The CD4069 has a very wide operating voltage range (3v to 18V)
3: Only needs a single rail power supply
This makes the perfect LFO for installing into Panasonic mixers, The PCB features a 7805 voltage regulator so it can be powered from the mixers titler input. The LFO will output a waveform that goes from 0v to whatever voltage you supply it.
This means with a 5V regulator the very highest part of the waveform wont exceed the range of the positioner joystick. This also works on the wipe fader and should work with the key level (just need to test this) in case you every felt like cramming two boards in for 4 LFOs
Just want to confirm these PCBs work when I get them back from JLCPCB. Once I know they work I'll make the files available to download / print your own PCBs!
There will be a accompanying PCB that pots / switches will solder too, its going to take some effort to get that right inside an Ave5 enclosure!
