An easier way to solder to the GBS8100 boards

Been meaning to get this uploaded for ages! things are just crazy buzzy at the moment. LoFi Future is now a propper real tax paying business witch has added a whole new level of work but luckily I'm getting help in that area plus others from my wonderful fiancée!

Currently we are also trying to move our life and business into a more suitable place. We went all in on this venture during the pandemic as there was very little in terms of job options. Now we have well and truly outgrown the one bed flat we are in and are looking forward to expanding!

Anyone building the GBS8100 or planning on making one will find this useful. Although doing this doesn't give you every pin of the RAM IC to play with it provides some of the most useful. Plus you can easily solder to pin 15 on the RAM chip itself as it will no longer be so crowded on there!

Hello! I know this is quite old content at this point, but I was wondering if there was ever more documentation for this method. I'm having trouble soldering directly to the pins so this alternative would be very helpful

Uploading a sharper version this week for you! Need to upgrade my camera rig and everything else, but currently in the process of doing that so better content on the way soon!

thanks for the update. i just bought the patreon for this, but it doesn't really explain wich pins these directly go to on the other side (to experiment with) ? and it's not reaaallly sharp, so can't really tell what holes you scraped and what not to connect.... :(
