I am fascinated by these old video printers. This one in particular (The Mitsubishi P50) is a black and white thermal printer that prints in very much the same way as a reciept is printed. The thermal paper that is used has a chemical coating that turns black when heat is applied.

I have put together this five page PDF on how to make "no-input" video feedback loops (similar to what you would get using a video mixer) using cheap, readily available video converters.

Demonstrating the Composite Glitch Processor using VCR, a Camera and an 11" CRT monitor. Apologies for the black horizontal bars that appear sometimes. It is just the shutter speed of my camera not syncing up with the monitors refresh rate and is not visible in person.
