Hi Guys!

Another video update here, I've been a bit slow but haven't actually had to stop - I'm taking that as a win :)

Rounding off a lot of the little finishing touches this week, so hopefully I'll be able to clear the desk and get some nice clean shots of the final resin pour :)

Little update while things are in progress - the resin stained green again in my follow up attempt yesterday, luckily I only poured one tile to be safe and remade a few spares with the last disaster!

I'm running a retest now with much more sealing varnish and resin over the oil paint grime, I now suspect that is the culprit....

I usually just use nihilahk oxide over nuln oil'ed copper or bronze, and rub off the excess, but that doesn't quite get the effect I want on smooth areas, and also doesn't leave a great deal of texture.

Faster, smoother basecoating method - optional

EDIT - you can thin the pro acryl 1:1 with airbrush thinner for the exact same effect, probably even more, the pigmentation is SO strong. this might actually not just be faster than craft paint, it might even POTENTIALLY be much the same price 😁

Just a quick update on progress - most of the crafting for 3 videos has now been recorded, just a few bits left to go before we're purely on painting before doing the resin!

Faye is kindly helping me get these pieces all batch painted - as usual this is a bigger workload for me than you as I don't generally have the luxur...
