An actual, honest to god update! Good lord it feels good having energy!

Hi Guys!

I've had more energy in these past 5 days or so than I've had since pre-Covid, so I've actually been able to move forwards significantly with the videos! 😁

I've finished recording the crafting part of video 1 (sloped walls), and am moving on to video 2 (sewer flows) but I thought I'd share these updates now I've actually been able to implement them :)

The first is this very cool, but totally optional LED hole I've placed at the back of all grate tiles in a piece of thin card. just poke in one of the modular LEDs I showed how to make in the wall of fire video and you can make your walls glow like the lair of a demon, the lab of a mad alchemist - go nuts 😄

I've also got Fabio to make a variant of the iron bars for the grate, one that looks busted open by something rather strong - just to add some nervousness to the table...

here you can see how the LED light appears in a room with normal daylight bulb lighting, like your average kitchen:

and how overwhelmed it gets by my photography lighting and an insight into why recording leds is problematic:

These are just some nice little optional touches to give you more options - I'm currently at work getting the early 'how to' parts of the sewer flows recorded, and tomorrow Faye will be helping me by painting the basecoats on...everything! meanwhile I'll be testing out resin and poking Fabio to see if he's ready with the next STLs - lets just say these sewers will be good for vertical combats 😁
