Realistic foam achieved! Sewer video update 6

Hi Guys!

Another video update here, I've been a bit slow but haven't actually had to stop - I'm taking that as a win :)

Rounding off a lot of the little finishing touches this week, so hopefully I'll be able to clear the desk and get some nice clean shots of the final resin pour :)

I personally have several dozen miniatures that I printed over 2 years ago, cured in my uv curing chamber, prepped for painting, then forgot about on a shelf near a window before priming, they are still absolutely fine 2 years later, i imagine something that is in a storage box for most of the time would be absolutely fine

Honestly unless you put it outdoors or in a window all day I really don't see it being an issue - 99% of the time mine will be in a storage box! 😁

Interesting... I would think that there would be issues with the long term stability of unpainted resin. It reacts with UV by definition and I'm not sure it's known what happens if it continues to be exposed to light over the years. (or at least it would be expected to get more and more brittle and possible discolor as it is overexposed...I tend to get a white film on stuff I overbake by forgetting it under a UV bulb...) Might make more sense to 3d print a master, and them make a silicone mold and pressure cast in a tinted resin designed to not be painted...
