Nice chill piece. This was surprisingly good practice for foliage. I think going with a brush without pressure opacity and using just a few colours works really well for trees, I used to overcomplicate tree/grass rendering a lot, but you really don't need to do too much for them.

I find painting water extremely relaxing and therapeutic. Usually approach this with layers, starting from base colours, to shadow colours, working from big shapes to small. Adding in highlights under water and then finally adding reflected highlights on the surface of the water. Reference is attached below!

I made this piece as an extension of the previous cloud piece, kind of providing 2 points of view for the scene. Overall quite happy with how it turned out! The great thing about creating a series of pieces set in the same scene is you can steal colours from yourself, so it makes the rendering process a lot more straightforward actually! :)
