A little preview of a puppet in the making for an adaptation of H P Lovecraft's "Memory." For those of you familliar with this prose poem you know there are little apes jumping about the ruins of the tale, and they might just be us, de-evolved many, many years into the future. A little behind-the scenes snapshot from the animation for my film "Goblin Wood", made back in 2008. At this point in time I used a DV cam hooked up to StopmotionPro with so-so results. The above photo is a still from "The Shadow Out of Time", which is currently my most sucessful YouTube video. You can briefly glimpse this shot on a screen operated by the time-hopping Yith race. You can't do a time-travel flick without including some dinos, can you? The carcass on the ground is the Triceratops from my LoneAnimator logo animation, ...

I'll be posting some stuff from my archive of photos as regularly as I can muster now, and I'm starting off with this guy. Some years ago I was planning to make a film with my uncle, adapted from a very well-known Swedish folktale. It's about about how the dead celebrate Christmas mass a few hours before the living, very early in the morning....

Made for an upcoming King Kon fan film project, this Pteranodon puppet was built in a retro style conforming with the original film. Here's a blog post about the making of it :)

Well, not yet, but it will hopefully do that next year in the fan film "The Revenge of Kong." This is the latest puppet I've built with some funding help from my brave patrons!

Next year I will tackle stopmotion dinos for the first time in a long while. The spindly chap above is a recreation of Marcel Delgado's Pteranodon from the classic "King Kong", and it's made for a Kong fan film project. But I will also build a bunch of Jurassic dinos for a personal YouTube project, so stay tuned :)

Thanks to my so far eight brave patrons I have now released my first film, which is solely produced with Patreon money. It's this little YouTube chiller; a tribute to the scary stories by British ghost story author M R James.
Here's to the next one! :)
