Clay Ape Man
Added 2017-08-21 09:50:08 +0000 UTCA little preview of a puppet in the making for an adaptation of H P Lovecraft's "Memory." For those of you familliar with this prose poem you know there are little apes jumping about the ruins of the tale, and they might just be us, de-evolved many, many years into the future. I tried to make the creature look kind of dumb and benevolent.
The sculpture is made in medium grade Monster Clay, and detailed with small loop tools. It's about 20 cm tall.

This morning I recieved a very good reading (narration) from a Facebook friend, so it's moving along. Right now I'm casting the chest area for the demon character. I like this tale too. Very poetic. It's Lovecraft in best "Dunsany-mode" :)
