Here's a track based around the tune 'Mama and Papa' by the great Earl King. I cut this track in the studio with Wes Little on drums and J Kott on bass. This progression has a few interesting twists. There's a minor '2-5-1' to get to C#min followed by a major '2-5-1' to get to Amaj7. I'll be putting up a lesson all about 2-5-1's really soon! This one also repeats a few times before hitting the ending (Cmaj7,B).

Here's the tabs for the diminished examples I played in the lesson video. The chords just go back and forth between A7 and D7 and every time I use a diminished 7th arpeggio over the A7 and then resolve to a chord tone of D7. Enjoy!
