And now... back to our bi-weekly programming!

What are some campaigns/narratives from games you played that you wish were better than what was executed? (Mine would be BF3 and both modern MOH games)
Funny enough, I've had a video idea for years that's one big homage to an old Jeremy Clarkson Car Review where, between BF3 and MOH Warfighter I "finally decided once and for all which one is worse."
There's about a million of these for me; I think one of the reasons I hold my "fuck canon" stance that often ruffles some feathers, is that when I'm thinking of a sequel or remake, it's for something that's deeply flawed that I think could be made better.
I don't want a remake of Bioshock...
It's already a remake of System Shock 2.
I want to make a new WET, or Alpha Protocol 2, a Need for Speed HEAT expansion pack. R-Racing Evolution is one that is very much a part of my "Dream Game" fantasy because while a new WET, Alpha Protocol, or Need for Speed could at best, be a really good iteration of something that already exists, a good version of R-Racing Evolution would venture into uncharted territory for the art form.
For sports games, racing games, etc.
Oh, also like... 70% of Warhammer.

Since now you can port any xbox 360 games in native pc port, do you have a wishlist on what games should be ported to pc from this tool?
Oh god... I don't want to just write an endless list, but I'd also have a horrible time just picking a select few.
Halo 3 - Might seem pointless to some given MCC, but as fantastic as MCC is from a value and variety proposition, the cohesion of Halo 3's experience is just so much more seamless in the original game, and something were it to be preserved I think would lead to the game's dedicated fans playing it over MCC.
Forza Motorsport 4(+Horizon) - People are still playing Gran Turismo 4 to this day because it's offering something that the single-player experience of GT7 just doesn't, regardless if somebody's a recent or long-time fan, and it would absolutely be the same case with Forza 4 if it was easier to emulate and play on PC.
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1&2 - Because every version of this game (6th Gen, 7th Gen, and PC) was different, this really would be an entirely new game for people, and one they should experience, warts and all (many of which are tied to the game's sluggish performance on 360.)
Saints Row 1&2 - For the original, it'd be for people to have access to this franchise's origin that, while far more down to earth than where the series would later end up, still has a lot more Saints Row 2 in it than typically gets credit... and Saints Row 2 , so that then, we could finally have a version for PC that isn't compromised.
Perfect Dark Zero - Because I'm working on a video for it, and I'd like to not deal with Xenia crashing all the time (yes this is a joke, I know recompiling games isn't a quick nor easy process.)
There's also the PGR 3&4, EA's Skate, SSX, Chromehounds, Amed 3, Call of Duty 3, Burnout Revenge, Table Tennis, Uno (still the best version), Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Gears of War 2, The Darkness, Crackdown 1&2; there's just so many.

Do you have a method for when you're knee-deep in an edit and trying to stay on track, especially for larger projects that you know are about to take a long time to finish?
TL;DR - No.
The gaps in my uploads might make me the wrong person to ask this question, but I'll try. Big part of staying on track to me is honesty. That is, when that feeling of being stuck creeps in, when writing an intro over and over and over and over and over, when I've stared at an unfinished paragraph for two days...
To really just sit down and ask, why?
'Cause most of the time, I do know the answer, I just don't want to admit it.
It feels embarrassing, stupid, childish; a skill issue! But, almost every time I felt this, then incorporated that feeling into the work, it felt better, not just for me, but for the viewers too.
It might sound weird but I actually don't distinguish much between shorter projects and longer projects, because both feel long. You're spending hours and hours and hours on something that for a viewer, is minutes. So whether you're project is short enough to be finished in days, or long enough to be finished in months, both feel like they're developing at a snails pace.
What I tried to do, and I think was successful on this latest video (until the end when the tedium kicked in) was really indulging in the joys of making something.
Knowing that my day to day wasn't setting up bullshit tests for a teacher, walking across the office just to at least get my legs moving, or collecting golf balls on a driving range, but creating something exactly in my vision from nothing.
The reason I get so angry at content creators I think are cynical narcissists is that what we get to do is a privilege.
Treat it like one.
