Status Update

Here's a status update for the end of September.

GoThongs

An experimental bug fix update is available in the GoThongs group. Please give it a test and report any issues with it in the GoThongs Github.

VibHub

I've written my own tweening library for the vibration programs that can be sent to the device. This will allow you to create vibrational programs of massive proportions on the new microcontroller. 

Kadah is finalizing the new board revision. The current design has the following improvements over the previous board:

• New, much more powerful microcontroller.
• Battery power.
• We can likely ship a 3d printed case with this one.
• Bluetooth support.

Recently I've been working with bluetooth. By the looks of it, we can add bluetooth support to the device, so you can have a phone control it. I can see about writing an implementation once the PCBs are ready if this is something the users want.

I'll post more info on this once the boards arrive.

ExiWoW

New update for the lewd WoW addon ExiWoW is available which adds a new quest and interactions to BfA. The main addon can be found here, and the lewd asset library here. Once the new VibHub board is ready, I'll also be improving the VibHub integration for the addon.

New Game?

While waiting for the boards to arrive, and in order to raise some funds for VibHub development, I'm thinking about making a new mini game. Which comes down to two alternatives.

1. The past 2 weeks or so I've been working on a browser based D&D like game. Primarily text/image based but with 3D dungeons and visuals. So far I have made a working combat system and dungeon generator. I'm currently working on dungeon encounters, keys, traps and such. If I go ahead with this, the game would be open source, crowdfunded, and fully moddable. It also supports up to 12 players in a single game. The DM would have full control in customizing their game.

2. BARE 2. This is option 2. I could crank out a quick sequel to BARE with 2v2 combat. This would still be closed source and funded with microtransactions.

TL;DR/What's next

• GoThongs bugfix HUD available in the GoThongs group. Test it and report back if it breaks everything.
• VibHub rev1 boards are on their way. They'll be more powerful, support battery power, possibly have a case & bluetooth.
• If you play WoW. Try the ExiWoW addon for a good time.
• Jas has gotten a fair bit of work done on a D&D-like minigame for browsers. Concept will likely be available for testing within a week or two.
• A new minigame will be developed to raise further funds for VibHub development. Either D&D-like game above, or BARE 2.
