TWD: TW Ch. 27

The spell took everything.

Lucien felt it the moment the magic left his wand. The pulling sensation began in his chest and spread outward, as if someone had hooked their fingers into his ribs and yanked. It wasn't exactly painful. It felt like the air was being torn from his lungs, even though it wasn't air at all.

The truth followed...

Kenji looked up at the sky. The sun had already set behind the horizon. Night was coming fast.

He needed to find Shisui immediately. He could not let the young Uchiha follow the same path as the original timeline, handing his Sharingan to Itachi before throwing himself off a cliff.

That suicide had been presented as a noble sacrifice...

It was another clan meeting day for the Uchiha.

Shisui had just finished briefing Minato on the latest developments within his clan. He left the Hokage Building and started making his way toward the Naka Shrine, where the meeting would be held. The sun was beginning to set.

He was maybe three blocks from the compound when a figure st...

The explosion that tore through the sky was so massive it erased part of the floating island in an instant. But the shockwave wasn't done yet, not by a long shot.

Maybe it was because the detonation happened ten thousand meters above ground level. The violent tremors and blast waves spread faster than anyone could have predicted. The thund...

The fist rocketed toward Shiki.

High above in the sky, Shiki's body quietly became coated in his own defensive Haki. He was still resisting, even though he knew he'd made tactical errors. But giving up wasn't in his vocabulary.

More importantly, he could finally break through his opponent's defense. The brat wasn't invincible anymore...

The Ancient One stood at the edge of the Mirror Dimension, maintaining the containment field. She didn't need to participate in the fighting anymore, Mephisto's avatar alone was more than capable of grinding this world's Satan into paste.

If she could avoid borrowing power from extradimensional entities, that was always preferable. Even th...

Since climbing to his position as Hell Lord, Mephisto hadn't encountered a single demon stupid enough to talk to him like that. The sheer audacity was almost impressive.

Mario felt equally stunned. In his understanding, Mephisto was already top-tier among demons, especially in the Marvel universe. Apart from the missing Satan, the other de...

PIG V4 Ch. 02

Marco stood at the entrance of the old East End Precinct building, pulling on his familiar police jacket. He watched the pedestrians hurrying past on the street. He took a deep breath of air.

"Damn it," he muttered under his breath. "I should've stayed at the beach a few more days."

The precinct doors swung open, and Darnell came out...

The tires kicked up spray as Marco's car hit the Gotham city limits. The windshield wipers worked overtime, smearing grime across the glass.

One month away, and the city hadn't changed at all.

He rolled down the window and grabbed the cheap souvenir keychain he'd bought in some Florida gift shop. It was a plastic palm tree with "KEY ...

The Lasso of Truth shimmered around Dionysus' wrist, glowing with a warm golden light that somehow felt both gentle and uncompromising. The god of wine looked toward Diana as she strode forward.

"Why are you here? Have you come to interfere in my affairs? To protect this blasphemous mortal?"

Diana stopped a few paces in front of him,...

"Easy there," the man said, smiling as he wagged a finger at Marco. "You really are quite special. How about this, I'll ask you a question."

He swirled the wine in his clay goblet.

"How much do you know about gods?"

Gods.

Honestly? Marco didn't know shit about gods. But he knew plenty about lunatics.

By now, he was ...

Around late afternoon, maybe 4 or 5 PM, Alexei wasn't great at telling time by the sun's position yet, Qingxue and Yan finally returned, flying back on their swords in tandem.

He felt a weird sense of déjà vu watching them land, like he was back in school waiting for teachers to return from some administrative meeting. Even though Qingxu...

New Story

Most of you may have noticed by now that Saturdays and Sundays are rest days. I'm still working on projects during that time, just not grinding chapters. Those days are currently reserved for heavy, time-consuming projects, as well as researching and developing new ideas.

The most demanding ones right now are Arcane and Cultivation (MPCW View Post

Note 01/27/26

So here's the problem.

I took on a request (TWD: TW) and have already put about two and a half days of work into it. To maintain the level of quality I've established, I need around 40-70 mins per chapter, depending on how much original writing is involved. Some chapters, like 22, 23, and 24, took even longer.

The reason is simple: ...

"Ha... haha... oh God... oh God..."

Merle stared at Lucien like he was seeing something impossible. His eyes were wet and he was laughing. The sound was high and broken.

"I knew it," he gasped, the words tumbling out fast and desperate. "I knew... I knew you wouldn't leave me. God wouldn't... couldn't..."

His free hand shot out...

Lucien pushed the skateboard forward. The wheels rattled over asphalt as he wove between two abandoned cars.

He was running through the timeline in his head, trying to remember exactly how this part went.

Andrea gave Rick a look. "From what Glenn's saying, it sounds like your kid's got more sense than you do."

The group fell quiet. The anger that had be...

Lucien's world had narrowed to three things: the horse beneath him, the walkers behind him, and the desperate search for somewhere to hide.

The alley he'd ducked into was barely wide enough for the horse to navigate. Brick walls pressed in on both sides, close enough that he could've reached out and touched them if his hands weren't locked...

The hoofbeats changed.

What had been a steady rhythm turned urgent. Sharp crack-crack-crack sounds echoed off glass and steel. In the dead silence of Atlanta's empty streets, they might as well have been ringing a dinner bell.

And the city answered.

On both sides of the street, walkers that had been shambling aimlessly suddenly...

Lucien stared at the horse.

This world didn't have magical creatures, no hippogriffs, nifflers, or thestrals. But if he could form bonds with ordinary animals, if healing them created some kind of connection... That was an advantage.

Well, he thought wryly, if I can't learn advanced magic, at least I've got something els...

The brief moment of relief faded as reality set back in. They had a hor...

Lucien looked from Gale to Rick to the Joneses, weighing his options like he hadn't already made this decision days ago.

"Dr. Gale's right," Rick said firmly. "And besides, you've been wanting to see Shane, haven't you? I can take you to him. I'm a cop, I promise I'll keep you safe. Will you come with us?"

Three days after Duane woke up, life at Harrison Memorial had settled into something resembling routine.

The moment Lucien spoke the incantation, he felt magic flowing out of him. It wasn't like practicing on himself. When he'd healed his own cuts and scrapes, the magic had been almost effortless. This was expensive. His magic drained three times faster than usual, maybe more.

Lucien settled into a routine at Harrison Memorial that was, by apocalypse standards, almost normal.

Lucien spent most of the night staring at the ceiling, running through options until one plan began to take shape.
