The fans, we rag on Podz, but I honestly don't think it's Podz's fault. He's just trying to make it in the NBA, so if the coach is going to give him 33 minutes, of course he's going to play without arguing it, but realistically, he shouldn't be playing more than 20 minutes on a winning roster right now. He probably looks better in a normal lineup coming off the bench as a 2 guard. I swear if he is put on a competent roster as the off-the-bench guy, he'd probably give that team 18ppg consistently. Think about it. He's bigger than Payton Pritchard, and stronger and a better defender than Austin Reaves, but he fits that archetype. On a sensible roster, in the right role, Podz would probably be a demon and significantly out perform his contract. The issue is we're running him in lineups that are undersized while also pitting him against the other teams' starters. That's a recipe for failure. It makes me mad, b/c this is probably true for half the guys on this roster... Put in a better situation, they'd drastically outperform their contracts. Except Moody... he might actually just be ass.

Notice how when Looney was on this roster that Kerr would consistently play him over Looney. As soon as Looney is out of the picture, now TJD essentially never plays. Kerr has a bad habit of playing end of bench guys over people he seems to be trying to bend to his will. TJD probably only got as many minutes as he did at that point specifically because Kerr didn't want to play Looney. Now with Looney gone, TJD should have cracked the lineup, but hasn't been seen since. It would have made more sense to run TJD at the 5, Draymond at the 4, and then live with that spacing--we've literally done it in the past with Looney. Even if defense suffers, you'd think you'd run this at least for the defense. Why is Al Horford playing over TJD at this point? He's useless out there. The conclusion? Kerr is running agenda lineups. But who's agenda is this mf riding with? Lacob doesn't want this. Jimmy doesn't want this. Kuminga doesn't want this. Does Curry want this? Does Draymond want this? I'm so lost...
