The brushes that come standard with Clip Studio blow Photoshop out of the water. Man, it's such a good program for comic art!

I decided to take two days or so to recolor/re-ink this Harry Potter image.
It was the last thing I did before I took a long break, and honestly, I've been quite unhappy with it. 600 dpi was way too much. Inking style was ugly, and the coloring was an experiment that I like less and less every time I see it.

17 months after the original, here is a newly colored version of the same image. I do believe the colors are much cleaner, brighter, and the inks are better too.
Sometimes it's just nice to have something tangible to judge your skills over time by.
