New Face Renders!
Added 2020-06-21 09:04:12 +0000 UTCJust a quick update tonight for what I've been working on lately. First, I've finalised 8 new facial designs and set them up to render. The whole batch of images should be done a couple of days before the patron release. These faces will bring the total number of facial styles from 6 to 14, which should reduce the number of duplicates you're likely to see by a fair bit. I may also take the opportunity to prune out some existing faces that aren't particularly attractive; that will probably be done for the public release.
Second, I've been doing some writing for a new character role. This character will be one of Nora's students and will be part of a general effort to turn the university into a more interesting location. I'll have some more on this in a future dev log once I've worked out the details!

I actually like LR2 models more, I think they are more realistic. LR1 models were too similar to dolls

2020-06-23 03:16:26 +0000 UTCThis has been the main thing that has turned me off from this game, the Models are fugly, I was a patron through LR1 and loved it. Good simple story with lots of fun and some random chance thrown in. The Girls were hot a fuck as well, Look at the banner on this page to see what I mean, those are the girls from LR1 if you didn't know. It was such a let down to see the new girls in LR2, I know it's a new game engine and what not but it felt like it was a deal breaker for me. I'll be watching to see what the new girls look like and the new poses. If you do well, notice I didn't say perfect, then I will seriously consider returning as a patron again.

And yeah, could definitely do with some fewer duplicates, but that's really to be expected when you have procedural generation of virtually infinite characters (if I understand correctly it basically generates up to 10 new characters every time you hit the hiring menu). A suggestion - could you make the strippers a unique role?

2020-06-22 04:34:18 +0000 UTCYeah, I edit the source files to remove faces / hairs / etc that I don't like (and make changes to certain NPCs). I like your idea of being able to request changes of people. Can also imagine this being a hiring feature, where you pay extra to be able to screen candidates for physical characteristics.

2020-06-21 22:01:45 +0000 UTCI’ve been playing a ton of the game since the last update and I realize the actual grindiest part of the game is hiring. I hire nobody constantly because I’m trying to find that perfect girl with hair I like (some of the hairstyles are not very attractive) and standing in one of the better poses. Something I’d love to see is a way to get the girls to get a haircut and/or dye (either by paying them, asking them nicely, or commanding them) and also have the body type change. Maybe they get heavier after a baby, for example. Serums obviously could do it too. And of course some way to change the standing pose, or make it dynamic.
