Summer's Here in Japan ☀️

The weather is quickly warming up, even up here in Northern Japan. The average afternoon temperature here in Morioka is around 27C - which doesn't seem too bad, but when you add really high humidity on top of that it can be pretty intense!
Down in Tokyo it's a few degrees hotter and it looks like they've begun rainy season as well. If you didn't know, Japan has a rainy season every year, usually around the end of June into July. Rainy season usually lasts for at least a month, and it means heavy rain almost every single day☔️I love the sound of rain on the roof as much as the next person, but it's not very fun to deal with everyday if you walk everywhere like I do😂
As of Friday June 19th all of the travel restrictions will be lifted and I'll be able to leave Iwate and travel to other parts of the country again! The restrictions weren't strictly enforced, they were more of a suggestion to not travel outside the prefecture you live in, but the majority of the population has been following them. First stop - Tokyo! It's been so long!
I'm going to stay over at my friend Nicole's place in Chiba but first we're dropping by Nalu Salon to get our hair done💖I'll just be getting a smoothing treatment to prepare for the humid rainy season that my thin frizzy hair hates so much😂I think Nicole's on the lookout for some Fila BTS collab shoes so we're going to stop by Fila afterwards, hoping I'll be able to find some cute T-shirts there, I'm in dire need of some shirts for the hot weather! Apparently 90% of my wardrobe is sweaters and hoodies and it has not been fun wearing them these past few weeks😅
