2025-10-09 23:34:14 +0000 UTCWith regards to Korra, I would say it's worth watching so you can form your own opinions about it. I think it will be interesting to hear a fresh perspective/take on it. It's important that you go into it with the right expectations though. It's not ATLA, and it's fundamentally different in several ways (each season being an independent, separate arc being one) Anyway, I hope you'll at least give it a shot!

I think ATLA has incredible voice acting for sure I love seeing the voice actors still recreate some of their lines from the show and get into character at fan events and stuff, it’s cool how a lot of them don’t seem to be upset that most ppl mostly associate them with their ATLA characters — makes me think it must’ve been a good experience, lol! iirc the voice actor for Toph only did a few voice acting gigs when she was a kid, Toph being the main one, so yay less child labor LOL and upon looking it up apparently the voice of Toph, Michaela Murphy, also voiced Meng?? The fortune teller’s assistant who had a crush on Aang?? And they thought she had the perfect voice apparently — the more you know!

2025-10-07 16:42:50 +0000 UTCI love how in the Southern Raiders, we see just how well Katara and Zuko work together even though Katara still dislikes Zuko at that point — little things like when they’re on Appa and Zuko tosses the spyglass/telescope behind him without looking and Katara catches it, or like when they’re sneaking onto the ship and they barely speak to each other but just understand how the other works and they fight next to each other seamlessly — super cool stuff As far as recap eps go I think ATLA’s is really fun LMAOOO the random callbacks like how a lot of ppl disliked The Great Divide episode and in the play they’re like “eh let’s just keep flying” Or when Jet gets crushed by a rock and sokka’s like “yknow it was really unclear if he died or not” bc in the show they didn’t show Jet’s death or lack thereof on screen LMAO Also I believe that the original design of Toph was supposed to be a tall, muscular teenage boy instead of what we got! They might’ve been referencing that as well with the play lolll ANYWAY OMG FINALE NEXT‼️‼️‼️ SO HYPE‼️‼️‼️
