Roundup Post Usage Poll

Veterans of my Patreon know that every month I post a roundup of the content of the previous month, including up-to-date comic pages of the current series. However, I've become curious as to the downloading habits of my patrons, and how many of you actually engage with these posts. I don't currently have plans to stop making roundup posts, but I'd like to know how everyone uses them.

How often do you use the roundup posts to download content?

Comments

I'm sure the zips are more convenient for you, but given how bad Patreon is on desktop, I primarily use my phone, and phones don't like to play nice with zips. Could you just post like a gallery of all your content from the month instead, and maybe throw the zip as an attachment for the people that prefer it? It would be nice that way to make sure I didn't miss a piece just because I missed the notification and hadn't checked your page. I'd see it in the monthly gallery and appreciate it then.

I make sure to grab the monthly packs each month, but I wait for the final comic pack with all of the pages VS downloading the in-progress partial comic zips

H_R

I usually wait for a comic to be finished to download the full thing at the end of the month. Not a fan of having duplicate pages

I only download them each month just in case I missed anything, but it's extremely convenient and helpful! Especially as I don't get to visit Patreon very often. I also highly appreciate that you separate the vanilla from the more kinky stuff.

GreenDreamer

It seems like a helpful feature for people who have missed stuff. Personally I just save the stuff I want as it comes out.

I have a request, if it’s not too much trouble. Could you add a 0 in front of the single digit for longer comics? Like “01.png” “02.png”. Because when it’s just 1 or 2, they’ll get put out of orders, such as 2 getting put with 21, 22, 23. But if it’s too much trouble then no worries, it’s not a huge deal lol

Coco

I download them every month because I'm a data hoarder so it keeps my archive up to date

Kyle F

Admittedly I don't think I've ever interacted with the roundups. Either I save the images as they're uploaded or (for a comic) I go back and check the master post.

Thingymabob

I don’t download, if I wanna reread something I normally search for the comic title or a buzzword that’ll get me there or go scrolling through discord

Insignia

I download as things are completed.

Owlonmywrist

I always assume the HD version is in the zip so I download it every month

Diego P

Honestly I don't download zips often, because there's usually not anything that I don't already have there. Like, PixelSketcher actually puts alternates in their zips, so there's more of a reason.

theauthorty

Usually either download images when they're posted individually or I'll download a zip once a comic is complete.

I'm a very recent member to your patreon, and I gotta say, going back through and grabbing all the roundups was a godsend. I plan on downloading the future ones, just to make sure I didn't miss anything :)

MountainGoat

I download them when they're fully finished comics or I missed the individual posts... And just to have a backup

Jacob Wolfe

i only download if it has some kind of helpful tip or tutorial element to it ^^

Dev Valentine

I don't use the zips now, but having to wade through Patreon as a new reader is frustrating. The site is not good for reading comics quickly. So I think new patrons need a bundle available to get into what they just paid for more easily.

Fukata

I'm the same as some others have said here, I'll download the individual images as you post them. I don't use the zips at all, but they are nice to have for new people going back and getting caught up with everything

Deviant

I usually download images as they get uploaded, so most of the time I don't use the roundups. But! If I miss a few because I'm busy or I have to take a break from Patreon for financial reasons, they're great to have available.

lucentorb

I’ve just joined your Patreon last week so I cannot do vote on this poll xD

pokediginut

Honestly, I'm usually waiting until a comic is finished and put in a .zip before I download. Most of the time I've downloaded illustrations as soon as they come out.

Yoshiba

If there were alts that were exclusive to the roundups I probably would, but as-is I don't see the need when they're all available on Patreon.
