Rain soaked realms

This was actually the first time Richard and I worked together and when the drizzle began, I felt a huge wave of relief wash over me upon noticing how his face didn't show the dispair I'd expected, but rather an opportunists grin! We were clearly kindred spirits in that regard.
Most other photographers I know would've called it a day and I wouldn't expect anything less of course as it is widely felt to be unpleasant weather, not to mention cameras + rain = big nope.... But Richard went 'oooh I've always wanted to do a rain shoot!' so there we were!
I absolutely adore all elements and find the rain so invigorating so I jumped at the chance to keep shooting and I'm so glad we did because with his dream-like, ethereal style these just came out so beautifully.
I definitely want to do more wet & wild shoots... I'm thinking beachtime for the next one!
