Thanks to recent developments in Houdini 19, I've taken the time to research and develop the new Vellum tools available for muscle, tissue and skin simulation. Here's a preview of one of my standard characters hooked up from scratch, after also successfully rigging it for the new deer character.
It makes characters look a lot more realistic by simulating their interior makeup, as living things are made up of stuff. Here's a super rough animation using it to show their deformations, and be a relitively quick render that transfers over as a high resolution gif, files are also in the 4K folder.
I will now be using this as a standard for all future animated characters, as I would love to perfect these three simulations to get some really lovely results.
