Where I grew up for 7 years, Singapore! Nostalgic seeing it in an anime with the merlion and whatnot. Yall should definitely visit! It's small so everything is accessible using the MRT or taxis, food is amazing, and the city is super clean.

It’s a a questionable event that happens but I don’t know if you can call an author a weirdo for writing something like that. I wouldn’t necessarily call Old Boy’s Screenwriter and Director a weirdo for writing a movie with way more messed up stuff. Plus I’d say Araki prolly finds the behavior of other authors weird by how he behaves towards them.

Many have gotten away with things in real life that would instantly end your career here in the US. At least Jojo author hasn't done anything sus irl like the others, but there's still this episode so I'd wager he's a weirdo too. Luckily he stays away from this kind of writing for the rest of the series, there were complaints when this came out in manga too
