Mario Kart World - Around The World For 80 Dollars (Review)
Added 2025-06-20 18:30:45 +0000 UTCI reviewed Mario Kart World. It's big, pretty, and plenty of fun. Shame Nintendo is so disinterested in doing anything with the game's entire central gimmick (and then there's the $80 thing).

1) Price is absolutely a fair point to take into consideration when reviewing 2) I am hoping that they continue to develop the game much like the last one. It does seem to be lacking a few things that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe had, but by the end that game was really a 10-year Ultra Mega Deluxe version. But when you're charging 80 clams up front, maybe it's time to open the nozzle wider on the drip-feeder. 3) I've seen a lot of people say how they only started truly appreciating the actual tracks when playing them on a 3-lap loop in VS Mode, and it feels like there should be more chances to do that elsewhere in the game. Driving to the tracks is cool, but the tracks are the exciting part, and they're only a third or less of most race experiences. 4) Spike is a throat GOAT.
