This is an animation that I wanted to do for a long time now. Basically, the idea is that it's like the MiSide story but with a different protagonist and he's shrunk into a tiny. Aside from the original story, the other inspiration for me for making this animation is from BigiGts and Hachika's MiSide size arts.
This might be the one of the most difficult and time-consuming animation that I have ever done mostly due to it being heavy on the story/plot and doing some research and making model/3d asset conversions for this project took several days and it still ended up being only the 1st part of the series. I wanted to make it either a 2 or 3-part series depending on how much I can do within the month. Obviously, I modified some parts and events from the original MiSide game story to fit the size theme and for plot convenience so some scenes from the original game will either be altered or removed and may not exactly be the same as the original story.

Specifically, the way the sound effects (loudness, depth, reverb, etc.)—like those of the voice—were adjusted to reflect the subject’s distance from the source of the sound. That’s no easy task, especially when the audio is synced to the camera’s perspective, but wow, does it pay off. It keeps the sense of scale and immersion strong throughout, and I just had to shout out how particularly well it was handled here. Suddenly, that mic doesn’t seem so out of place now, does it? 😏 Funny how "loser gets smacked with this hammer!" wasn't just a throwaway one-hit, but ended up being some clever foreshadowing instead~ And to cappie 🧢 this off, I’ve got to spotlight my favorite scene: the looming approach of Cap-Wearing Mita. The tension was real. I loved how the sound of each stomp paired with the weight behind every step. Scenes like that—where the danger is amplified by the unawareness—are pretty great! 👍 Probably because they subtly remind you just how small you really are... 🔎 ↘ 👋(ᵔ ᵔ) I’m still easing into the plot myself, and yeah, there’s definitely a lot of build-up waiting to be answered for. But when that moment comes 💍'ing—I’ll be ready to pick up ˗ˏˋ ☎️ 🫲
