Great song, outstanding performance and a very well done reaction. IDZ is pure BabyMetal not only in music but also in the meaning of the lyrics. Of course Momo has no mic. In 2021 she was "only" an avanger and became 2023 to MomoMetal as an full member of BabyMetal. But I think you know that meanwhile. As my predecessors told you, you have to watch the Sonishere version. For many reasons but only two here: First it was a milestone in history of BabyMetal. Second the energie of dancing is more intense IMO espacially the running and the fighting parts. Kitsune up and 🦊🦊🦊 For the Fox-God 🦊🦊🦊

It was also the second song they played live after Doki Doki Morning, but it wasn't released as a single until 2013. Recently it has been reserved as the finale for special occasions like the final encore at a tour finale. A couple more special IDZ performances you should see are the live at Sonisphere UK 2014 where they first made their mark and announced their existence at a major event outside of Japan and the finale for the second night of the Legend Metal Galaxy concerts in 2020 where SU and Moa were joined on stage by all 3 Avengers and both Kami Bands of East and West (4 guitarists, 2 bassists, 2 drummers) joined together to provide the instrumental support. This one was at one of the 10 Budokan 2021 concerts they put on to celebrate their 10th anniversary. By that time Momoko was the last remaining Avenger so she performed at all 10 shows. Because of Covid the arena was at half capacity to ensure social distancing. Everybody there had to wear 2 masks (their own and a commemorative mask handed to them on the way in) and they were not allowed to shout or sing along. They were restricted to clapping, jumping, stamping and waving. Any other crowd noise or chants were recordings taken at previous shows during the respective songs and piped in.

2024-10-21 19:12:09 +0000 UTCBudokan 2021 was a series of ten concerts to celebrate the Babymetal's 10th Anniversary; after these concert, they went on hiatus until early 2023 , when they published the Other One album and held the "Babymetal Return The Other One" concert at Makuhari Messe. Momo was one of the 3 avengers from 2019 to 2021, when she remains the only one. Lately in 2023 she became the third official member, replacing definitively Yui.

2024-10-21 07:55:01 +0000 UTCWhile Road of Resistance is the standard concert encore, IDZ is rarely played and generally reserved as the tour finale encore. So it is a very special one to see live. The 2014 Sonisphere version is most people's favorite, though personally I love the Legend Metal Galaxy version with both Kami bands and all 3 avengers on the stage.
