Hi, so I really debated making a post about this. I'm really strict about keeping my personal life separate from my work. But my personal situation is impacting my work severely.
Long story (kinda) short, when the snow started to melt we had severe roof leaks in our kitchen and living room. Insurance got involved, we got a new roof insta...
base is all sewn, just needs the spikes, belt and chest details....and also some stuffing ahah. I'm hoping to have him done Monday but I might be underestimating how much work all *checks* 15 spikes and 6 chest thingies are going to be 😅

Might be hard to believe because so many key elements are still missing but Toxtricity is coming along well! I wanna tweak the arms more, and of course I gotta draft his mohawk. Also not sold on the eye placement yet. It's a good start though!

I didn't get to make the heads because a Windows update messed up some permissions that my embroidery software needed to function and it took too long to track them all down before the end of the day Friday, but they're all halfway done! They'll be finished Monday for sure!
Speaking of Monday though, our insurance finally came through abo...

It was a huge challenge getting that body shape right, but I'm really loving how he's turning out so far. His head is not working out right now though...

This might not look like much but each side of the body needs 3 hoopings and each hoop takes about an hour to embroider. :'D The applique looks fantastic but goodness is it ever testing my patience lol.
