I've been reading the Iliad lately! It is very interesting and I wish I had read it sooner.
I like Achilles, Patroclus, Nestor, and Diomedes as characters. They are all fascinating.
I just read up to the funeral of Patroclus. I hope to finish reading it soon so I can paint another drawing of the Iliad.

The first one is based on the statue in Alexandria. It is a statue of the deified Alexander and the hero Hephaestion.
The second one is inspired by the time when just became a Page; I tried to keep the color of the Macedonian chlamys(cloak) the same in both drawings.

I painted a cross-dressing. The Persian earrings are drawn based on the ones I saw at the MIHO Museum in Japan the other day. They were very beautiful earrings made of precious stone and gold, dating from the 6th century B.C. to the 4th century B.C.
