My commute to Chicago was a little goofy, but the seminar was cooler than the other side of the pillow. I met a ton of people including several Patrons and was nerding out non-stop. I'll likely post the entire talk for you guys somewhere, but for now, here's some of the goofiness.

Here's our darkened cover of an old country standard. This song was first recorded at the historic Sugarhill Studios in 1959. We recorded our version at Sugarhill Studios for their 50 year anniversary album. A few other artists you might have heard of also recorded at the "House of Hits" / Sugarhill... Possible strong tornadoes tomorrow. Fast & Furious & messy storms firing in a crazy shear / low CAPE environment over general bad chasing terrain (trees, hills, windy roads, and trees). In these conditions, chasing and observing a tornado is usually a bad bet... but possible.

Are you guys seeing multiple advertisement breaks on any of my videos? I'm turning them off in the platform studio, but they keep coming back... like mold in the shower... But faster... and crappier.
Apologies for dumping these glitches on you guys, but your input has been extremely helpful solving issues.

I'm currently sorting through all of my storm footage from last year for the "Best of 2018" video. This week I've gotten through half of it. I was shopping for a brush guard / Bull guard / whatever guard for my Toyota Rav4 because it makes sense that it will protect my radiator in case of a collision with one of the many, many deer I fly by on dark country roads. One of my most memorable days, June 17th 2014. This was the first of many tornadoes I would witness. The slow cell motion and good road network enabled me to stop and stare at this tornado and several others including the Coleridge NE grinder (Next little town to the south). You've seen the videos... What a day!

Hard to believe I wrote this song over 20 years ago. It's about leaving it all behind and driving into the desert. In my case, in a gray primered 1968 Mustang. This photo was taken about the same time of Pandale dirt road along the Pecos River... My favorite road on the planet.

I feel like I’m 6 years old on Christmas searching for snakes here in Thailand. So far, 13 different species have been photo and video documented. The highlights have been two little 7.5 foot reticulated pythons, one flying snake, and a bright green tree viper. We definitely have enough footage for a very interesting video. No cobras yet, but st...

IF YOU NEED A PROFESSIONAL QUALITY PRINTER and live in America, I highly recommend mpix.com. They're good, fast and cheap. 16x24's cost $23.93. If that's more than you want to spend, you can shrink it down to an 12x18 for $1...
