I’m sorry this is a bit late; my last few days have consisted of my wife succumbing to heat stroke, passing out in a Home Depot parking lot, and narrowly avoided a hospital stay. As a result, most of this was written yesterday. I’m quite excited for the next few chapters, though.

Some chapter renumbering once more went on during recent audiobook revisions, so this is the next chapter that you guys have not read despite teh fact it’s tiled 48, because I combined chapters 32 and 33.
I should hopefully have 49 up on Saturday, but there might be a slight delay.
Here is the next chapter of this fic. It’s probably the most ‘romantic’ chapter I’ve posted on here, which isn’t saying a great deal.

Every time I go back and revisit these chapters, I’m reminded how much I enjoy this fic. You can pretty safely expect more of this each month because it’s trying really hard to be my favourite, though I think Road to Hell still holds that title for the time being.
