Announcement Regarding Upload Schedules

Hello, everyone,

I’m sorry for missing this last upload that was supposed to go out on Saturday. I have been fighting for my life in terms of staying ahead and had been stubbornly refusing to make adjustments because I love you guys, am so grateful for you being here, and never want to give you less than you’ve been getting.

This last week has proven that I don’t have much choice, though.

Being really honest and more open about my personal life than I have been in the past for a minute here:

I am getting married at the end of this month and I have a half-sibling on the way this summer. I also really, really want to work on my novel, and I’m trying to make some big changes in my personal life outside of the ones I just mentioned.

All that makes things very chaotic. I am currently at my soon-to-be-in-laws’ house for my fiance’s birthday as well as Easter and have been for about a week. The week before that, I only got to start work prior to 9:00 PM once or twice. It’s been somewhat like that for a while now. I probably averaged less than four hours of sleep a night in March, and that’s with me neglecting certain things I really should not be neglecting right now, as well as giving myself virtually no ‘me time’ in the day.

Because of all that, I’m going to have to temporarily scale back uploads just a little bit.

Going forward for the next little while, there will be one upload a week here on Patreon. I will proportionally reduce upload rates on FFN/AO3 — IE Road to Hell once every two weeks, PoP once every two weeks — that way you continue to stay as far ahead as you are now. The one bit of silver lining is that I won’t be taking weeks off for my novel this way, so you’ll make up for some of the lost chapters with that.

I’m really sorry about the necessity for this and I do plan for it to be a temporary thing. Just between preparing for the upcoming wedding, the fact I won’t be able to work during the week leading up to it or the week after it, and the travel I’ll have to do around the time of my half-sibling’s birth, there is no way I will be able to sustain two uploads every week. I hope you all understand.
