These automatic collectors are compatible with either my 3D printed fry tray or the Fluval/Marina hang on tank breeding box. Silicone tubing is also required. 1/4" ID x 3/8" OD for the smaller collector or 3/8" ID 1/2" OD for the high flow uplift used by the larger collector.

Follow up from last night's video. Attached here are STLs for the 4.5" x 4.5" and 7" x 5.5" egg traps. I recommend a high infill % to make sure they sink. 30-40% has been enough for me. The majority of the print ends up being walls anyway.

I reworked the 5-gallon tank rails for the 7W trays and made a version to fit the 6.5W. The 6.5Wx10L seems to make the most of a 5-gallon's footprint so I think I'll be using this myself.

To prevent airline tubing from colliding with the tank glass on the 2.5-gallon tray size, I made a few variations of the uplift tube that, along with a general overhaul to the upper half, are oriented left, right, or straight forward when viewing the tray from the side. Even for the other tray sizes, this control over orientation might be useful...

On request, a fry tray variant to fit the Aqueon 2.5-gallon tank. It doesn't need rails which is cool, but it's a small tray and a small tank water volume so be careful. I can't say I wouldn't do it, but this is kind of like raising fry on expert mode. To the band of psychopaths that have asked for this, best of luck.

New files are available. Specifics are available in the changelog but the most significant is the addition of a new line of trays that are 6.5 inches wide rather than 7. This was a frequent request and is aimed entirely at use as a set of four on a 20L tank. The usual full range of length variants is included. Happy printing!

After a couple of months of testing, I think the "frustration free" Ziss hatchery stand is ready to venture out in the world.

As I mentioned before, the uplift tube (specifically the opening to attach an airline fitting) will be subjected to the most wear and tear over time. For those wanting to print in PETG, it can certainly be done.
This was on my Ender 3 Pro with a direct drive extruder. Printed on a smooth borosilicate print bed using Overture PETG filament and Layerneer bed weld.
