After a couple of months of testing, I think the "frustration free" Ziss hatchery stand is ready to venture out in the world.
I have included four height variants between 7 and 10 inches (original was 8in), along with a second set with a greater angle on the feet for printers that might struggle with the overhang.
This model prints upside down as shown in the image above. This was the best orientation I could find to print this as a single part. I know the overhang seems like an aggressive angle, but it has been no trouble on an Ender 3 when printed at or around these settings:
0.2mm layer height
30% infill density
1.0-1.2mm wall thickness (slightly better quality at 1.0mm for me)
25mm/s wall speed
35mm/s infill speed
I always err on the side of slower print speeds but for these tall, thin columns and ambitious overhangs, I suspect it will be very helpful to slow things down. Let me know how it works for you.
Enjoy!
