Opinions on the metal gear remake? i cant find myself to get hyped whatsoever since anytime i think about it it just brings to mind the kojima-konami split and my level of trust for it to be good just plummets.

I don't get hyped about any project these days, so that certainly extends to remakes. Admittedly, Metal Gear Solid 3 is certainly a game that could use an update for most players, though I'm somebody who really enjoyed its controls, that could be mastered over the course of its long campaign.

I'd just much rather get new games of these franchises, you know?

I don't want to re-experience NFS: Most Wanted, Metal Gear Solid 3, Resident Evil 4, I want to experience something as fresh as those games were.

That was part of their appeal that you'll never be able to replicate, no matter how good it is.

I haven't watched the Playstation Showcase, so I'm afraid I can't give any reaction, other than a couple Tweets I saw about Metal Gear.

Nope, but I've heard it get compared (not favorably) to Mass Effect 2, so I'm legally obligated to boot it up one day.

Do you use a particular software to organize your gaming backlog, watchlist and reading list, because I personnally how to organize all of that haha

I did recently open a Letterboxd account and I think it's correlated to me binging a lot more movies recently, as well as unlocking several memories I forgot I had.

Books I've got on my shelf, so that's a pretty literal method of organizing, and Steam, I've got the library of course, though it's gotten to a point where I sometimes struggle to find games I've bought because I only vaguely remember their thumbnail image.

...It's kinda embarrassing.
