Having recommended The Chemical Brothers, and now this, I'm starting to think there's something in the waters of England that's making Electronic Duo's make their best work to date in their old age.
This isn't an album you put on for EDM bangers, nor soft ambience you'd imagine hearing while exploring a cave complex, but the atmosphereic yet infectiously catchy melodies of synthesizers which aren't abrasive, but pleasing... with maybe some exception to You Are The Frequency.
There's something about such a beautiful album with its soft synth beats and almost silky vocal quality, containing such heavy lyrics as "I know I really don't wanna get fucked in a working world."
It's beautifully bright, compellingly dark, and almost everything I'd look for in an electronic album.
