It's been a rough chemo sessions these last 6 weeks, so I haven't done too much new art, but here's a couple of art re-works I've done. Hope you like 'em.

Commission in progress

I'm working on some commissions where I didn't like the first version & did a second. The girl dressing, the good version has no text. I didn't like the text on the first & her shirt obscured too much of her figure. The Nightshade piece just didn't please me. The 2nd, in both pencils & inks looks much better.

Next Christmas

I don't think it's a surprise that I love Christmas. In fact, I'm working on some Christmas pieces even now. Of course, they won't be for sale till next December. Let me know what you think.

Couple'a Things

I stated a new bout of chemo yesterday, so it's gonna be a few days till I get back at art. In the meantime, here're a couple of recaptions I've done. Hope you like 'em.

This stuff I sold last week. Lots & Lots of Christmas. I've floated the idea with Dennis at Heroic of doing a set of Christmas Cards featuring Heroic characters for next year? Any thoughts? Would any of you be interested in such thing? If not, why not? (That's, ah say, that's a marketing question, son)

I Don't Know Why I Bother

Just wanted to show you this. Above is the finished piece. Next is the pencilled & inked piece. Next is my attempt to color it with Photoshop. Looks terrible & took twice as long as the marker version. Every so often, I try the Photoshop method & just get more frustrated.

Kickstarter Live!!

The Heroic Kickstarter is live. Dennis started it this morning. The book will feature the entire Heather Reilly story in color. And the color is beautiful. I rarely get good color from someone else, but this is the best I've ever had.

Also, there is a 16 page new feature in the back about Missy Evers.

Things in progress. I find I'm most creative early in the morning. (My usual getting-up time is apx. 4:00 AM, sometimes as early as 1:30 or 2:00.

Clarissa at the Fair

I was deleting some files & thought you guys might like to see a pencil version, followd by the inked one. It's a Clarissa piece for an issue set at the local fair.

New Approach

This is a new approach I'm taking to some of my art, but not all. In this case, he B&W Art is done on 11 x 17" Card Stock. The image area is 10 x 15". When I auction it, the buyer also gets a 8.5 x 11" hand-colored copy & A print-out of the colored copy with text added. The Wonder Woman Here posted is the only exception, as I wanted the ...
