[No, don't look at the upload date...]

I've seen occasional references to the game Cross Code in your videos mainly through various clips, but I recall you used Apollo's theme a bit back in some of your earlier videos. Why did you use that track in particular so often? I haven't noticed many repeated songs in recent videos but have there been other ones you've used a lot? Also, I'm curious to hear what your general thoughts on the Cross Code are.

Far as I've been able to find, I've only used Path of Justice from Crosscode's OST in the F1 video, because it fit perfectly for the montage of bugs. Generally, my personal rule is that I avoid repeating songs unless I just can't help myself... that's unironically led to me using almost every song on some OSTs like Perfect Dark Zero.

As for Cross Code, I was surprised how much I enjoyed my first moments with it... unfortunately, it quickly began to drag, I hit a huge difficulty spike against Apollo, and I saw the games average completion time was 35+ hours, and I just didn't have the will to see that through to the end.

My general view is I liked the game, and I just wish I liked it more.

Bitchin soundtrack though.

Over the years since it came out, I've seen you referencing Cyberpunk as an example of "peak immersion" but I actually found it really hard to get invested in anything else than the main story. It felt like most of the side content could just be fast-forwarded on your phone while still getting the gist of the situation and there was never a point where I felt compelled to just really think deep as opposed to go in guns blazing. Do you feel it comes down to other factors or it just didn't click with me the same way it did with you?

Most likely the latter.

I generally tell people that if they didn't like Witcher 3, they're probably not going to enjoy Cyberpunk, as despite the perspective and setting shift, they're very similar games in both design and style.

Some of my favorite moments of the game are just sitting down and talking people, so skipping through its top notch animations, dialogue, and characters to get to the action, is a bit like watching a movie at 2x speed.

Purely basing this off the videos you make, what you say about them, and the name drops sprinkled throughout these Q&As… you and I have a very similar taste in games we enjoy (whether their quality is near perfect or you have to work with the jank) so I have to ask… have you ever played my favorite game called Marc Ecko’s Getting Up? It’s a truly unique experience that authentically captures the culture of graffiti with deep tagging mechanics (similar to SR2 but on steroids) and Prince of Persia-esq platforming

I tried it once multiple years ago, but I've got a feeling the PC Port wasn't doing it any favors, and I didn't really have any enhancements to make it easier to slip into.

I've been curious about it ever since seeing Gamespots Review of it back at release though, probably one of the most unique games in-concept and atmosphere ever made.

I'm going to look into that next playthrough now...

What games do you think would be greatly improved by a more immersive hud, similar to far cry 2 and dead space?

Without just cheekily screaming "all of them", or listing every Far Cry game, I'd probably pick... Starfield.

No doubt, there'll be more immersive HUD mods made for it, but I'm more thinking of things like the Space Map, Ship Interfaces, and Inventory. LIke... imagine a Next-Gen take on the Galaxy Map from Mass Effec-

What are some YouTube creators who you follow that your audience might not expect? Are you a fan of (personal favorite) Jon Bois, or keeping up with the extensive Nickelodeon canon of Quinton Reviews, etc. etc?

There's a small channel called Moosterton that I really enjoy, mainly because it reminds me of early 2000s YT, but without the pacing issue that most videos from that era actually had. They're structured, but everything else is old-school.

NotJustBikes has opened my eyes quite a bit to just city infrastructure in-general... as well as amplifying my hatred of SUVs and Trucks.

After SquidTips' video "How I went from Transphobe to Trans Ally" went viral, I wasn't expecting to get into their YT Short content about Motorcycles, but I have, they're really entertaining.

I immediately subscribed to Hoolopee after a friend showed me their "Two Pipes" video.

James Smith's made me completely rethink dietary and fitness after I first stumbled upon their videos about Prime. I'm pretty tempted to buy Gary Stevenson's book after seeing him first appear on Novara Media, another channel that's one of the few I tune into for news.

I've loved LocalScriptMan's content, SavannahXYZ, FD Signifier, and while I'm not into drama content, Gokanaru's Sneako feature far ascended that label.

Generally, I'll watch anything regardless of subject, just as long as its well-done, and especially if its passion > product. Consuming lots of content is also why I don't take things personally regarding my audience.

It's totally cool if someone's watched one video, because I've done that all the time with people I've subscribed to. There's so much out there, and its unreasonable to expect everyone to watch you over them.

Have you tried Final Fantasy XIV?

Nope, but I did just buy...

Despite the fair amount of stress making a video for GOG, would do something similar in the future? Did it change the way you approach making videos?

Absolutely.

Though, I would try if possible to only make one video at a time. Juggling those two simultaneously was 90% of the stress on that project, for it could've been done easily within the deadline had been able to give it 100% attention.

Ironically, I don't think it changed my approach, but made me feel more comfortable with mine, being able to fit it onto a Sponsored project in a way that felt seamless without also deceiving people.
