Damn... after running the math on Hiveguard they're not as hopeless as I previously thought... Especially with their ability to overwatch at a 4+. They're not efficient until you consider the overwatch, and then suddenly they're not terrible. They require nearly perfect conditions to work, and that's my biggest problem with them in practice vs theory... But they're also wildly durable... Interesting interesting.
