It's definitely possible. I want to explore more art like this in the future. I want to have more types of art going foward, more portraits, perhaps a few landscapes here and there. =D

Gwen is so cute! even with her face completely masked. Would you consider have her featured in your future art? Not as a pinup, something less static and motion based.

Thanks! I wanted a more "sharp" image in terms of color and contrast, so it's definitely a different type of saturation and detail from what I'm used at working. Overall I draw a little more towards realism, and for this one, I went for something like "comic/realist". And I have to say I'm happy with the result. For this image it definitely worked. The background it particular was really challenging. It's always tricky to do "simple backgrounds" because you have to make fewer details count for more. So it was definitely a good practice =)

Oh now this is very impressive! I absolutely love the colours here, the background is so vibrant with the warm tones in the top left, the blues on the right with a purple gradient connecting them. The characters all pop out very well, particularly Miles with the strong rim-lighting along her arms and legs, while Peter too does benefit from a warm rim-lighting across him, popping him out from the purples behind him. The detail that you've put into the background is terrific too, my favourite little detail being the reflections on the glass of the building behind Miles, it's also a great touch that the reflections show warm-toned windows that pop against the overall blue. The rendering on all of the characters is so fantastic, some of my favourite parts being Miles' clothes and the folds in his hood and across his billowing jacket. I also really like the streak of subtle, warm lighting running across his shorts and the definition of his tensed calf muscles. Gwen looks so good too with the light across her mostly shaded face being very striking and the definition of her shoulder is something that I just find so cool. I also really like the long streak of warm lighting that runs across her thigh, contrasting with the black material as well as the blue lighting running underneath her thigh. And even Peter far in the background is very well defined with the patterns in his suit wrapping over his anatomy and the rim-lights that I mentioned already that really accentuate him and let him pop. Absolutely brilliant work on this piece! There's so much to like here and I really could go on and on!
