I went to the Miho Museum today! It was very sunny, the sakura were in bloom, and there were lots of people.
Normally photography is prohibited in the museum, but this time miraculously only a portion of the museum allowed photography. I will share the photos I took there. It is mostly Eastern Mediterranean or Italy glass!(Only the blue glass like tube is from Sassanid Persia.)
The exhibits in the prohibited areas were also very beautiful and interesting! I have actually seen the bracelet that Alexander wears in the WIP drawing and learned that it is a small bracelet for childrenπ I can't redraw it now, so Alexander is forced to wear a children's bracelet...
Others I have seen Greek krater (40cm!),kylix, Achaemenid kohl tubes and glass cups. Seeing these things in person was a very valuable experience and will be used in future artwork.
Here is a link to the artifacts I have seen.
