On April 21, 2012, a complaint was made by a resident in rural area of Florida about noise coming from their neighbor’s property. When police arrived to check things out, a gunshot was heard and a bullet struck the police car.
Richard Barker, a diabetic man in his fifties, was taken in for questioning. Barker claims he had only been shooting a pellet gun earlier, but shells were found at the scene which contradicts his story.
