Character Preview: Harpy Wingmaiden

"Harpy society is heavily divided into classes, and those at the lowest stratum are called Wingmaidens. A species of harpy, not a role, these maids of the sky serve their knights and ladies through wing, talon, and, quite frequently, body. Yes, to the surprise of many that visit the Grand Duchy of Celaeno, the entire species is not only willing, but eager to be eaten. I didn't understand it myself before I saw it with my own eyes. While it's common for monster girls to prey on lesser members of their own kind, Wingmaidens are by no means weaker than other harpies, rather they have happily chosen to exist at the bottom of the food chain.

Wingmaidens are, at heart, hopeless romantics. To them, there is no greater display of affection than to be digested by someone you love, perhaps other than to be digested inside someone you love alongside someone else you also love. They have, to put it simply, eyes for everyone and very little discernment.

You may think this means visiting harpy lands equates to a free buffet, but I would advise you to think again. No doubt you will catch their fancy as a mysterious traveler from abroad, but always keep in mind their true loves. It is just as likely one will swoop down your throat as it is she will pluck you into the sky and feed you, along with herself, to her very pleased mistress. If you do find yourself under threat of being carried off, do your best to offer her a nice resting place inside your belly, lest she get any bright ideas about you joining her for the ride."

GENERAL UPDATE:
I am really loving being back to working from the mindset of a game dev, and I made great progress on breaking the game even more last week (Positive.) The next release will be as a beta on the discord and will come out as soon as I have a build that can run without crashing. I'm hoping to do three types of releases in the future, which are similar to what I've already done: Beta, extremely buggy builds released only on the discord, Unstable, initial releases for this Patreon that will have bugs and may not include select features like modding, and Stable which will have as many bugs eliminated as possible and all features intact.
