They don't really make it clear, but I think they got David Robert Jones from 2 weeks into the future, which they might clarify in the next episode, but it's not a super important plot point. The fact that it's a teleporter is more important. Massive Dynamic definitely wanted Olivia's help to get John's memories, but it was ZFT and David Robert Jones that abducted her, and it is for a very specific purpose! As far as the last Image John Scott saw being Olivia, that was a callback to the tech used on the murdered woman in episode 2 where they saw her last image was the bridge. Fringe is very complicated! that's one of the reasons why I love it!
