This is definitively not the worst episode of the series for my tastes, not even the worst of this season which is, in my opinion again, the worst season. I have never attempted to rank all the episodes according to which I like the most or least but if I did I expect this one would not be in the lowest quarter. I think it has several good moments, from cave Buffy to Parker getting verbally put down by Willow once and literally by Buffy twice. It shows how I like BtVS that although I think this is the worst season, I think most of the episodes are great.

Made because they got funding from the government to promote anti alcoholism I like to think of this episode as Buffy getting over Parker, and she does by hiting him over the head TWICE. Caveslayer is fun to watch and SMG does a great job in portraying primitive Buffy. But, as others have said, Willow standing up to Parker is the standout moment from Beer Bad. She does the best friends job by confronting Parker who then does his Parker thing by trying to seduce Willow, only for her to turn the tables on him. Willow has a lot of great lines and "How gullible do you think I am" ranks highly in that list. Not all episodes can be action/adventure but this was a very light hearted one that made me laugh quite a bit!
