Fun Facts: Caritas is not Latin for mercy but for charity or love. At the beginning of the episode, Lindsey remarks, "She likes Chopin and Brahms," while starting Prelude in C Minor on the CD player for Darla. It never goes further than this, but... Barry Manilow uses Prelude in C min to introduce "Could It Be Magic." His follow-up album the next year, Manilow II, included Mandy, which Angel sings for The Host, and later on, admits that he thinks "it's pretty." The Manilow crush reveals Angel is at least a little aware of pop culture. But it could just be the old favorites being echoed in new songs that catch his fancy after wandering the earth for a couple of hundred years. Eliza Dushku is credited in the closing credits of this episode instead of the opening ones. Although closing credits cast listings are usually reserved only for background characters with unimportant parts, or those with minimal or no speaking roles, Dushku was placed here to keep Angel's visit to prison a surprise for the viewers. 2025-01-01 00:39:54 +0000 UTCIn killing the Prio Mortu Angel saved the girl without even knowing it. Since Angel can only be killed by wood he survived the duel whereas the Prio would have died to the sword. The PTBs have an interesting perspective to their visions
