I hear Palpatine is Rey's Gradfather. Kylo finds him and he ask him to bring Rey to him so he could turn her to The Dark Side. Palpatine was in hiding and built a new Empire in secret.

I think besides this the only other thing that I am worried about is that the 3rd act is some what similar to return of the Jedi
