I love the music (BTW: if you didn't know, Eddie and Alex Van Halen did some of the music score in this, and VH (with Sammy Hagar) have what is essentially the theme song, "Humans Being", which would also be one of the last straws of Sammy and Michael Anthony (bassist) in the band). I love the effects. I love the darkness of the weather. I think the acting of the three leads - Bill Paxton, Helen Hunt, and Jamie Gertz - is ATROCIOUS. I hate-watch this movie while still loving it. The dialog is SO unbelievable and corny. It's horrible. Still I love this movie and I loved watching it with y'all. I always try to suspend disbelief, but I don't believe Bill and Helen are scientists for even one minute.

2023-03-29 12:51:55 +0000 UTCI've watched the storm chases tv shows on discovery, and you can see this, where they are trying to deploy doppler and get readings. Sadly, even a few of the storm chasers from the show passed away while chasing stores, it was either the El Reno or the Moore one. So incredibly heartbreaking, but they do this for a reason, to help the rest of us to understand them and yes, to be able to give a larger warning time to people. As a side note, I actually live in Texas, and we DO NOT have a cellar. I have NEVER seen a cellar in Texas, which I think is SO STUPID!

2023-03-21 04:55:04 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite movies, but something I don't hear talked about a lot with this film is the music. It feels so epic, in the proper sense of the word. I always loved it as well. People have already mentioned the actors in this movie that you guys have previously seen, and someone already covered the Wizard of Oz reference (Dorothy), which you guys should absolutely see, so I'll jump right to my recommendation. I would love for you two to react to Independence Day. That movie and this one have nothing in common, but I suppose I'm recommending it now because after seeing so many of your reactions, I think you guys would really love it. I checked, and it doesn't look like you've seen it yet. It does have some actors I think you're familiar with, though. Won't say more on it, because I think the more blind you guys are going into it, the better. Oh, I will, however, give one piece of advice. I don't know how much you know about the film, but just in case, if and when you do watch Independence Day, avoid the movie poster. If you don't know the plot going in, that's better, and the poster gives it away. Great reaction, as always, guys. Excited to see whatever you've got coming next.

Also, the blonde guy, Jonah, is in the movie The Princess Bride. When Bill Paxton passed away in 2017, the real life storm chasers paid tribute to him. Google Bill Paxton tribute to see it. There is supposed to be a sequel coming to the movie as well.

There is also Alan Ruck who played in Ferris Bueller's day off as Cameron. Scary how intense it comes on so fast. One there is no outrunning a tornado , two no way you can tie yourself to a irrigation pipe with a belt. you would be ripped in half. Some peple want to stand outside to look at it. Amber that is the fear in every parent hun and it is the normal reaction you had. Rest in Peace Bill Paxton. Dorthy named after Wizard Of Oz Dorthy Gaile. Come on you must watch the original twister inspired movie.I live in Iowa . I Have been in a tornado and back drafts .It is horrifying the house behind me was leveled ,my friends house was leveled and I remember her sitting on the cement step and next to her she said there was our children's year book and she knew how lucky her kids weren't home and that is what matters in life. Please good time to prepare guys. We are heading into storm season. Bug out bags , ( like bike helmets to protect heads, water , food , flashlights, first aid kit, and a bell or whistles to notify rescuers) make sure phones are charged. Storm shelters or if your in a basement to a corner away from windows Most dangerous ones is night time ones you can not see. It used to be a cone of silence where the birds didn't even chip and a sweet smell in the air, no wind then the hail, and raining side ways before a tornado . Now you have seen destruction please teach your children storm safety. Better Safe then sorry.

That’s how I would feel watching a movie like San Andreas, since I’m from California (don’t watch San Andreas though, it’s not good lol). For more Bill Paxton (and so that Jordan can finally see it) you should do “Titanic” and “Apollo 13” (which also stars the great Tom Hanks). Helen Hunt, who plays Jo, also has a movie with Tom which is worth a watch “Cast Away”.

It boggles the mind what dangers a person puts themselves in For another classic, albeit inaccurate, weather movie, watch The Day After Tomorrow! For another Helen Hunt movie, watch Cast Away which also has good ol Tom Hanks in another visceral performance!
