Here is the sketch for page 43 of Chain Reaction. Jack's enjoying Katie's efforts to train her skills, but things quickly turn in a more concerning direction.
Took a lot of work over the weekend, but I officially established how I wanted to do this scene, among some other things, so here's the first page to get it rolling. This page itself took a lot of extra time because I went through a bunch of different comics to get a variety of different canon outfits to use between frames, as well as get myself warmed back up on the style, as well as verify a lot of things via background references. All-in-all I'd say I got myself back into the swing of the style, although I'll likely need some refreshers again soon when Alex and Julie are back in the picture.
Now it'll be a struggle to try and get this lined and colored in time for upload on Friday, but I'll darn well try. At worst though I should just have it up later than intended on Friday.
