Honestly X Dive is legitimately pretty fun and deeply fanservice-y in ways both good and bad, and I'm super happy to hear somebody open and honest about that fact. Like I think out of all the spinoffs this is the game that's given least of a chance with almost no good faith discussion and the stigma of being a gacha hanging over it. As long as youre willing to forgive its shortcomings that arent fully its fault like the translation and the occasional grind and stat wall, its a perfectly cromulent piece of Mega Man that deserves its place in the pantheon of weird ass side games

2026-01-12 01:00:49 +0000 UTCNo shame in liking X Dive, live and offline, I wished the live service aspect kept going a bit longer to show Capcom that yeah we will spend money on MegaMan during the drought. Bleach Brave Souls kept my fix for the series until we eventually got the Bleach anime back and X Dive did the same for me now that we have Dual Override next year. Plus new art of previously established characters are always welcome
